１月１７日の日曜日、 Boston Children's Museum において、

日本のお正月を紹介するイベントが開催されます。

毎年、お餅つきをしたり、獅子舞が出たり和太鼓の演奏があったり、日本のお正月を体験できる　とても楽しいイベントです。

　何だかおこがましいですが、今年は私も、Artists and Craft Makers at Work として参加します。夏からの手のトラブルがちょっと心配ですが、我が家の子供達が遊んでいる着物地でできたオモチャを並べながら、お手玉作りをするつもりです。

Otedama balls, Osaru-san Monkey dolls, etc. Nobuko will show you how to make the traditional and non-traditional objects like toys and games with Japanese fabric.

Learn about the traditional Japanese hair ornaments and ask how John makes them!
